Top tips/recommended tours
Bali Rice terraces: The lush emerald green rice terraces in central Bali offer fabulous photo opportunities. They date back more than 2,000 years when farmers with prehistoric hand tools carved the tiered terraces out of the steep hillsides. Subsequent generations maintained the terraces out of necessity, as rice is the staple food of the locality.

Kuta: Party animals will enjoy a night out in lively Kuta with its hectic pace and huge choice of pubs, nightclubs and restaurants as well as a vast array of bargain boutiques, shops and stalls.
