Day 1: Cape Town
Upon arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Extreme Hotel Fire and Ice, where you will stay for 4 nights in a standard room including daily breakfast. This hotel offers guests chic and contemporary accommodation, with a fun atmosphere. Boasting a swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and resting at the foot of Table Mountain, Extreme Hotel Fire and Ice has guests returning year after year.
Day 3: Cape Town
After breakfast, take delivery of your hire car (Daihatsu Sirion or similar)
Day 5: Cape Town - Hermanus
After breakfast, drive to Hermanus, where you will stay 1 night in the Abalone Guest House in a superior room on a bed & breakfast basis. A delightful guesthouse with artistic design, Abalone Guest House is only 3 kilometres away from the shops and restaurants of Hermanus.
Day 6: Plettenberg Bay
After breakfast, enjoy a nice drive to Plettenberg Bay, and the Periwinkle Lodge, where you will stay 2 nights in a standard room on a bed & breakfast basis. Located on the beach, the Periwinkle Lodge offers tastefully decorated accommodation and stunning views over the ocean, where you will see whales and dolphins.
Day 8: Kariega Game Reserve
Depart after breakfast and drive to the Kariega Game Reserve, where you will stay for 2 nights full board in Ukhozi Lodge - Luxury Suites. Kariega Game Reserve is a luxurious 5,000 hectare, malaria-free private game reserve, just 80 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Here you will enjoy morning and evening game drives, and return to luxurious accommodation.
Day 10: Kariega – Port Elizabeth
Leave Kariega and drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to return your car to the rental company. Depart Port Elizabeth Airport for return flight to Ireland.
